Kurt: Forever in Bloom, along with my writing courses, supports the following organizations. Click on the name to learn more about the work they do and how you can help.

Ginnie's House

"Ginnie’s House is Sussex County’s Children’s Advocacy Center. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are nationally accredited and a full member of the National Children’s Alliance.

Ginnie’s House provides a child-friendly environment where children are helped through coordinated efforts of child protection, law enforcement, and prosecution, healthcare, and mental health agencies when child abuse is suspected, disclosed or reported. Victims will find Ginnie’s House to be a child-friendly place that reduces further trauma by coordinating these agencies."

Tomorrows Children's Fund

"The Tomorrows Children’s Fund was founded by a group of committed parents to help their children and others like them with cancer and serious blood disorders. With the help of friends like you, today, TCF provides a warm, healthy and loving environment for children in treatment and a full scope of services to relieve families’ emotional and financial stress. In addition to our direct financial aid programs, TCF also offers an array of activities, events, outings, special guests and parties, designed to provide our young patients with a brighter tomorrow. All of which confirms our belief that through hope, hard work and heartfelt generosity, extraordinary things are possible."

Twin Harbors Wilflife Center

"Wildlife rehabilitation is the care and treatment of injured, orphaned and sick wildlife so they can be released back to the natural habitat as functional members of their species. It involves unique challenges for each species, and combines aspects of veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, animal behavior, biology, and natural sciences."
Every effort is made to provide the most appropriate and best care, then release wildlife patients as soon as possible for their safety and well-being.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

"Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death."

Camp Victory in Aberdeen, WA

"Camp Victory provides a safe, nurturing environment where campers can heal and thrive in a supportive community. There is no cost to attend. Volunteers are carefully screened and trained. Camp Victory is a private, 501 (c) (3), non-profit organization. Our Mission: To empower survivors of childhood sexual abuse to discover and embrace their self-value and encourage movement toward healing by providing camps and supportive programs that create community and build resiliency."

Aberdeen, WA Food Bank

Servicing Cobain's hometown of Aberdeen, Washington.

Grays Harbor Conservation District

"Conservation Districts provide services that help meet the needs of local people, properties, and the natural resources that we all share. We accomplish this through site-specific plans for your property that are designed to maximize both your land use and conservation goals! Not only will we help you plan your project, but we can also provide grant funding and free or low-cost services to make it affordable to take responsible conservation action."

The Conservation District knows that Kurt: Forever in Bloom will work to assist them with various programs and has graciously and generously vowed to continue to maintain and preserve Kurt's Memorial Park.
